1800 Unavailable PCI hardware interrupt.
Action
1. Run the hard disk drive diagnostic tests
on drive x (see "Running the diagnostic
programs" in the Hardware Maintenance
Manual ).
2. Reseat the following components,
depending on the server model:
v Hot-swap models: Hard disk drive
v Simple-swap models:
a. Hard disk drive x
b. Hard disk drive x cable
3. Replace the following components one at
a time, depending on the server model,
in the order shown, restarting the server
each time:
v Hot-swap models:
a. Hard disk drive x
b. Hard disk drive backplane
v Simple-swap models:
a. Hard disk drive x
b. Hard disk drive x cable
4. (Trained service technician only) Replace
the system board.
1. Run the Configuration/Setup Utility
program and adjust the adapter settings.
2. Remove each adapter one at a time,
restarting the server each time, until the
failing adapter is isolated.
