One conunuous movie wll! be recorded as one file.
During movie shooting, the top. bottom, left. and right parts of the screen
will nave a sem*-transparent mask. The area encJoseo oy [ne sem_-

smze] setting (p.13I). If you use Movie crop, the unrecorded image areas
will be alspJayed in black mask.
AE lock is possible by pressing the <_X_> button (p.97_. To cancel AE
lock during movie shooting, press the <_ > button.
The ISO speed, shutter speed, and aperture are set automaucally.
By holding down the <Ave> button and turning the <_> dial, you can
se[ the exposure compensation.
Pressing the shutter button halfway a_sp_ays [ne snu[[er speea ana
aperture (p. 126) on the screen's bottom left. This is the exposure se[ung
for taking s still photo.
Monaural sound is recorded by the camera's built-in mlcropnone ip.!6).
Stereo sound recording _s possible by connechng an ex[ernal
microphone equipped with a stereo mini plug (3.5mm dla._ to the
cam _ra s ex[ernal rmcrophone IN terminal tp.16).
The sound recording level will De adjusted automatical y.
