Preparing to Print
Playback the image.

indicate that the camera is connected

The camera canno-e De used with printers compatlule only with CP Direct
or Bubble Jet Direct
Do not use any interface cable other than the one provided,
If there is a long Deepng sound/n s_ep 5. it indicates a problem with the
printer. To find out what's wrong, do the following:
1. Press the <[_> button to playback the image.
2. Press <_ >.
3. On the prJn-_ se_ting screen, select [Print]
The error message will be displayea on the LCD monitor (p.184).
if you use a battery pack _o power the camera, make sure it is fuhy
charged. With a fully-charged battery, pnntlng up to approx. 4 hours is
DOSSIDle.
Before disconnec[_ng the cabIe, first turn off the camera ann printer. Hold
the plug (not the cord) _o pul out the cable.
For direct printing, using AC Adapter Kit ACK-E8 (SOld separately} [o
sower the camera is recommended.
