Shooting Function Settings
Menu Function Settings
The menu options under the [_:] tab's
[Live View function settings] menu are
explained below.
The functions settabJe in this menu
screen onJy appJy during Live View
shooting. These functions do not take
effect during viewfinder shooting.
® Grid dispJay
With [Grid 1 :_:] or [Grid 2_], you can display gdd lines.
® Metering timer
You can change how long the exposure setting is displayed (AE lock time).
® AF mode
You can select [Live mode] (p.113), [_ Live mode] (p.114), or
[Quick mode] (p.118).
_ Even while the Live View image is displayed, you can still set <MENU>
functions and execu[e playback < [_ >, If you select [_-= Dust Demete
Data], [_: Sensor cleaning], [_-" CJear settings], or [_': Firmware
Vet.], the Live View shooting will be [ermmated.

In Creative Zone modes, you can check the depm of field by pressing _ne

During conbnuous snooting, the exposure set for the first she-[ will also

Using <A-[}EP> will be the same as using <P>.
If the camera is _ot operated for a prolonged period, the power WIll [urn
off automabcally as set with [_" Auto power off] (p.139). If [_" Auto
power off] is set to [Off]. the Live View shooting will stop automabcaHy
after 30 rain. Lcamera power remains on),
With the AV cable (provided) or HDMt cable (sold separately), you can
display the Live View image ona TV (p.167, 169).
