,*c_ Automatic Sensor Cleaning
Whenever you set the power switch to <ON> or <OFF>, the Self
Cleaning Sensor Unit operates to automatically shake off the dust on
the front of the sensor. Normally, you need not pay attention to this
operation. However, you can choose to perform sensor cleaning at any
time, or disable it.
Cleaning the Sensor Now
Select [Sensor cleaning].
®_Under the [_3] tab, select [Sensor
cleaning], then press <_) >.
_ Select [Clean now,b ].
_ Select [Clean now_c_], then press
<(_>.
_ Select [OK] on the dialog screen,
then press <0>.
b The screen will indicate that the
sensor is being cleaned. Although
there will be a shutter sound, a
picture is not taken.

Immediately after the sensor cleaning !sfinished! the [Clean now.+_,]
option wi!! remain disabled temporarilY.
DisablingAutomatic Se"sor Cleaning
® In step 2, select [Auto cleaning :*_ ] and set it to [Disable].
_y,, T he sensor cleaning will no longer be executed when you set the
power switch to <ON> or <OFF>.
