Manual Drawer Release and Lock

The drawer opens automatically when a registration is performed. In the event of a power failure or other
trouble, the drawer can be opened manually in the following manner.
When opening the cash drawer, be careful not to let the drawer hit any person.
Releasing
Locking
When the drawer is closed, it is automatically locked and will not open without the Drawer Release Key or
transaction entries.

Removing the Drawer

After replenishing ink, depress the [#/NS] key to
check the density of the printed message.
Remove the CDC Cap.
Insert the Drawer Release Key into the Drawer
Release Lock, then turn the key clockwise. The
drawer will now open.
The Drawer Release Key can be taken out by re-
turning it to the original position.
Pull the drawer out, and when it stops by the stop-
per, lift the drawer up and pull it again.
