Move throttie lever (A) to "Fast" position, shown here as
a rabbit.
10= Move choke lever (B) to "Choke" position.
NOTE:For a warm engine, be sure the choke lever is in the
"Run" position.

1. When starting engine, position yourself as
recommended, grasp handle and pull recoii starter
lightly until you feel some resistance, then pulI briskly.
WARNING
Starter cord kickback (rapid retraction) can result
in bodily injury. Kickback wilI pulI hand and arm
toward engine faster than you can iet go.
Broken bones, fractures, bruises, or sprains
could result.
o NEVER pull startercordwithout first relievingspraygun
pressure.
• Whenstartingengine_ pull cord slowlyuntil resistance is felt
andthen pul!rapidlyto avoidkickback.
o After eachstartingattempt whereengine fails 1orun,always
pointspraygun in safedirectionandsqueeze spraygun trigger
to release high pressure.Engage sprayguntrigger lock.
o Firmlygraspspraygun with bothhandswhenusinghigh
pressure sprayto avoidinjury whenspraygun kicks back.
12. Return recoii starter siowiy. DO riOT let rope "snap
back" against starter.
13. When engine starts, siowiy move choke iever to "Run"
position, as engine warms, if engine falters, move choke
lever to "Choke" position, then to "Run" position.
14. After each starting attempt, where engine fails to run,
always point gun in safe direction and squeeze spray
gun trigger to releasehigh pressure. Move choke lever
to "Choke" position, and repeat steps 11 through 13.
15. If engine faiis to start after six pulis, move choke iever to
"Run" position, and repeatsteps 11 through 13.
NOTE:Always keepthe throttle iever in the "Fast" position
when operating the pressure washer.
WARNING
The high pressure stream of water that this
equipment produces can cut through skin and its
underlying tissues, ieading to serious injupj and
_ossible amputation.
Spray gun traps high water pressure, even when
engine is stopped and water is disconnected,
which can cause injury.
o DONOTa!lowCHILDREN to operatepressure washer.
• Keephigh pressurehoseconnected to pumpand spraygun
whilesystemis pressurized.
o NEVER aim spraygun at people,animals_ or plants.
• DONOTsecurespraygun in openposition.
o DONOTleavespraygun unattended whilemachine is running.
o NEVER usea spraygun whichdoesnot havea triggerlock or
triggerguardin placeandin workingorder.
o Alwaysbe certainspraygun,nozzles and accessories are
correctlyattached.
WARNING
Contact with muffler area can result in serious
burns.
Exhaustheat/gases can ignite combustibles,
structures or damage fuel tank causing a fire.

DO NOTtouch hot parts and AVOID hot exhaust gases.
Allow equipment to cool before touching.
Keep at least 5 feet (152 cm) of clearance on all sides of
pressure washer including overhead.
Code of Federal Regulation (CFR)Title 36 Parks Forests, and
Public Property require equiprnent powered by an internal
combustion engine 1o have a spark arrestor rnaintained in
effective working order, complying to USDAForest service
standard 5100-1C or later revision. In tl_e State of California a
spark arrestor is required under section 4442 of the California
Public resources code. Other states may have similar laws.
