If a dialog box appears asking whether you want to replace the
existing driver, select [Replace existing driver] ➞ click [OK].
The printer driver is updated.
NOTE
Check if the printer name has been changed. If so, rename the printer with its
original name, which you have taken note of in step 5. For example, you may see
the printer name being changed in the following way: from "Canon iR C3200
PCL5e" to "Canon iR C3200 PCL5e (Copy 2)."

Repeat steps 1 to 7 for all other existing drivers.

Restart the computer.

Check the printer configuration settings in the [Configuration]
sheet (Windows 98/Me) or [Device Settings] sheet (Windows
NT 4.0/2000/XP/Server 2003), and then reconfigure them if
they have been changed.
NOTE
If you are using a shared printer in the Print Server (Point and Print) environment, it
is necessary to install the Canon Driver Information Assist Service in the server PC
in order to use the Job Accounting feature. For instructions on how to install the
Canon Driver Information Assist Service, see "Installing the Canon Driver
Information Assist Service," on p. 2-33.
