The LaCie 12big Rack Serial 2 is perfectly suited for
professionals who need a way to expand the storage of
their workstation or server. By using a Mini SAS RAID
controller, you can connect the 12big Rack Serial 2 to your
workstation to instantly receive from 6TB to 24TB in a single
2U chassis. Its casing adheres to SSB international standard
references, delivering increased quality and affordability,
along with near-silent operation. Additionally, it supports
SES (SCSI Enclosure Services) 2.0, which allows you to
closely monitor the status of your disks and enclosure, so
you can work confidently.

Expandable

LaCie 12big Rack Serial 2 is an accessible and reliable 12-
disk JBOD array providing a convenient and robust way for
organization to expand their network's storage capacity. By
daisy-chaining several enclosures, users can create 96 SAS or 60
SATA disk arrays reaching 120TB of data. 12big Rack Serial 2 can
also be used as expansion unit with any other 12big Rack product
to get additional storage and performance. Reach 1050 MB/s*
with only 12 drives when using a 6Gb/s RAID controller.
