Engine oil
To check the oil level, run the engine
at idle speed for a few minutes (oil
temperature above 70°C), then check
the level immediately after you stop the
engine.
Proceed as follows:
• Check that the level is between the
MIN
and
MAX
notches on the dipstick

CAUTION
If, following the check, the oil proves
to be under the "MIN" level, top it up
and then have the system checked by
the Ferrari Service Network.
MAX - MIN
= 2 litres
• Unscrew the cap
B
on the tank
and, if necessary, top up with the
recommended oil, taking care not to
exceed the
MAX
level on the dipstick.
• Screw the cap
B
back on tightly.
Gearbox and "F1" gearbox system oil
It is recommended to have the oil level
checked at a Ferrari Service Network
Centre or by skilled staff.

CAUTION
B
This procedure must always be
performed when the engine is cold.
Never remove the cap C from the
expansion tank when the engine is
running or hot.
CHECKS AND MAINTENANCE
• Remove the cap
C
from the expansion
tank in the engine compartment and
check that the level is at approximately
40 mm
from the top of the filler neck.
• If the level is low, top it up with the
fluid prescribed.
If frequent top-ups are required after
short trips, have the system checked by
the Ferrari Service Network.
• Screw the cap
C
back on tightly.
