This security system is equipped with an optional Automatic Arming feature which allows the security system to arm 45 seconds after the last door is closed. Operation is as follows: 1.

Enter the vehicle and turn the ignition switch to “ON” position (alarm will sound). 2. Within 10 seconds push the valet switch. The alarm will stop sounding and enter disarm Mode. You can now start and operate the vehicle normally.

PLUS4900-UM.qxp 4/30/09 2:52 PM Page 8 RF Valet Mode RF valet mode provides the same functions as manual valet mode but allows you to enter and exit the valet mode using the remote transmitter. When the system is in Valet Mode, all alarm functions and remote start functions are off.
