Using the Disk Cleanup utility

Click Start on the taskbar.

Choose All Programs, Accessories,
System Tools, and then Disk Cleanup.
Adjusting System Restore settings

Click Start on the taskbar.

Right-click My Computer.

Click Properties.

Select the System Restore tab.
Deleting recorded TV programs

Click Start on the taskbar, and then click My
Computer.

Double-click Shared Documents, and then
double-click Recorded TV.
Uninstalling software programs that are not needed

Click Start.

Click Control Panel.

Double-click Add or Remove Programs,
if it is present.

Click the program, and then click the
Change/Remove button.

Select HP Pavilion (C:), and then click OK.

Select the type of files you want to delete.

Click OK.

Select HP Pavilion (C:), and then click the
Settings button.

Move the Disk space to use slider to a lower
setting to save disk space.

Click OK.

Right-click recorded TV files, and then select
Delete.

Click OK when the confirmation window
opens.

Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each program you
want to remove.

Click Close.
