CHAPTER 5 PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
<Replacement Procedure>
(1) Open the top cover of the printer.
(2) Push down the blue lock lever and take out the Toner Cartridge. (Fig.5-4)

CAUTION:
It is recommended to place the toner cartridge on a piece of disposable paper or cloth in case
you accidentally spill or scatter toner.
(3) Unpack the new toner cartridge.
Keeping the cartridge horizontal, gently
rock it from side to side five or six times.

(4) Remove the yellow plastic protective
cover. (Fig.5-6)
(5) Put the new toner cartridge into the
printer. When the toner cartridge is
installed correctly, the Blue lock lever is
lifted automatically.
(6) Close the top cover of the printer.
