Make sure that the power plug is correctly inserted in the mains socket.
To switch the machine on or off, use the POWER SWITCH (B37). After 30 seconds the machine is operational.

Original placement varies according to whether there is an automatic feeder (ADF or RDF) installed.
If there is no automatic feeder:
Lift the cover of the glass platen and
place the original with the side to be
copied face down. Align the centre of
the original with the arrow-shaped
mark.
Gently lower the glass platen cover.
If the standard copy settings of the photocopier (1:1 copying, automatic paper size selection, automatic exposure
control, one copy) meet your requirements, you may now start copying. Otherwise, before proceeding,

The paper is automatically fed in from the cassettes or, if special paper is used, from the stack bypass (
