To add detergent with the help of the
dispensing recommendation feature,
follow steps B, C and D below
before loading the drum.
B
^ Press in the I-ON/0-OFF button.
C
^ Press the Door button and open the
drum door.
The washing machine is switched on. If
the programme selector is at Finish , the
light ring around the programme
selector will flash to remind you to
select the programme required.
D
^ Turn the programme selector to the
required programme.
The Load % indicator light comes on.
As the drum is empty, the display will
not yet show any number.
If a number is showing in the display
and the drum is empty, rotate the
drum once. If the display still shows
a number after rotating the drum
once, press the button above the
START button until an audible tone
sounds.
E
^ Unfold the laundry and load loosely
in the drum. To achieve best results it
is advisable to make up mixed loads
consisting of both large and small
items. This improves the washing
effect and helps distribute the load
evenly to keep the machine stable
and reduce the noise level during
spinning.
The display shows the amount of
laundry loaded in the drum as a % (in
25% steps) of the maximum load
permissible for the programme
selected.
– Loads of less than 25% will not
register in the display.
– If the amount of laundry exceeds the
maximum load, the 100% value
shown in the display will flash to
indicate overloading. (Note: This
does not apply to Cottons
programmes). If the 100% starts to
flash, keep removing items from the
drum until the 100% stops flashing.
Overloading causes creases and
reduces cleaning efficiency.
F
Make sure that no garments are caught
between the drum door and seal.
The Detergent % indicator light comes
on and the amount of detergent
required for the programme selected is
shown in the display.
