The Neoware User Interface Selection Wizard guides you through
the process of configuring your Neoware appliance. The Selection
Wizard appears either when the Neoware appliance starts for the
first time, or when it has been reset to factory-default settings. There
is a quick guide showing you how to reset the appliance later in this
chapter (see "Quick Guide to Resetting the Terminal to Factory
Default Settings" on page 30.) or more complete reset instructions in
Chapter 6 - Changing Appliance Properties. (see "The General tab"
on page 87.)
Setting up your thin client and creating server connections is a sim-
ple process that is outlined in the chapters below. Configuring your
appliance takes only a few steps to complete.
1
Turn on or reset Neoware appliance.
2
When the Neoware User Interface Selection Wizard appears
it will default to "Thin Client User Interface". You can con-
figure your appliance to either the common thin client inter-
face or to the Windows CE desktop interface.
