client?

Overview
This manual doesn't explain how to use the Windows desktop or
Windows-based applications. To learn how to use them, read their
documentation.
Neoware thin client appliances are Windows-CE based terminals
that let you use applications running on Microsoft Windows applica-
tion servers, as well as applications running on UNIX/Linux servers,
and mainframe computers, and on the Internet/intranet. Compared to
personal computers, thin client appliances running Neoware soft-
ware are relatively simple devices, since most of the computing is
done by the servers.
Your Neoware-powered thin client appliance can connect to servers
running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Windows 2000
Server (as well as Advanced Server and Datacenter Server versions),
Microsoft Windows NT 4 Server, Terminal Server Edition (TSE),
and to servers that are running Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation

terminal emulation suite, you can also connect to mainframes and
minicomputers. Plus, you can connect printers, modems, bar code
scanners, and other peripheral devices to your thin client devices.
Some models of thin client appliances include Microsoft Internet
Explorer Web browser for viewing and printing HTML Web pages.
Neoware thin client appliances aren't difficult to use. If you know
how to use a personal computer, or even if you don't, you can use a
Neoware thin client appliance.
With this version of the Neoware CE software, installation and set
up are simple for the average user. Once the thin client has been
installed, all of the actions needed to configure and change your
appliance properties are simple steps using the Control Panel.
