NOTE
If the Toll Saver setting is selected, the answering
machine will pick up after two rings if there are new
messages, and after four rings if there is no message.

4.20.5 Announcement

This is the message your callers hear on the answering
machine. There are two pre-recorded outgoing
messages, or you can record your own.
4.20.5.1 Recording the announcement
1. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to
ANSWER MACHINE
select
2. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to
ANNOUNCEMENT

3. Press MENU to select
4. Press MENU and then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to
select the answer mode
ONLY

5. Press MENU to start recording after the beep.
6. Press MENU again to stop recording and save the
message. The just saved message is played
automatically.
NOTE
When playing the message, pressing
delete it and the pre-recorded message will be played
automatically.

machine and played back like a normal message.
