3.19.4 Announcement

This is the message your callers hear on the answering
machine. There are two pre-recorded outgoing
messages, or you can record your own.
3.19.4.1 Recording the announcement
1. Press MENU (Base) and then VOL+ (Base) or
ANS. MACHINE
VOL- to select
2. Press MENU (Base) and then VOL+ (Base) or
ANNOUNCEMENT
VOL- to select
3. Press MENU (Base) and then VOL+ (Base) or
RECORD
VOL- to select
4. Press MENU (Base) and then VOL+ (Base) or
ANNC&REC
VOL- to select
5. Press MENU (Base) to start recording.
6. Press MENU (Base) again to stop recording and
save the message. The just saved message is
played automatically.
NOTE
When playing the message, press CLEAR will delete it
and the pre-recorded message will be played
automatically.

3.19.5 Call screening on/off

You are able to hear a caller leaving a message. You
can then choose to ignore the caller or pick up the call.
