Reinstall the front fan assembly:

Place the fan assembly in the hinge bracket and swing the fan assembly down until
a
the release lever snaps into place.
Connect the fan assembly power cable to the front fan connector on the SCSI

backplane board.
Replace the system cover. See "Replacing the Cover" in your Installation and

Troubleshooting Guide.
NOTE: If the server management Ethernet connector has not been used before,
remove the cover that protects the connector before connecting a network cable. See
Figure 1-6 for the location of the connector
Connect a network cable to the 10-Mbps server management Ethernet connector on

the system back panel. See Figure 1-6.

Reconnect the system and peripherals to their electrical outlets, and turn them on.

Close the bezel.

Update the ERA/O card with the latest version of the ERA/O firmware, available at the

Dell Support website at support.dell.com.
