Transportation and Storage Preparation Methods:
1. Local Transportation Method
For normal short distance transportation within the same building or across town by a your own truck or van or by a commercial moving
van that will not require the printer to be tilted greater then 15 degrees during the move, use following steps will insure a successful
move:
1.1 Remove the paper and paper spindle from the printer.
1.2 Power off the printer from the Control Panel. Wait until the printhead moves to the home position in the far right corner and
the LCD display turns off.
1.3 Install the metal shipping bracket and locking screw to secure the printhead in place. If you do not have the shipping bracket
you can contact EPSON technical support or your dealer to request one. Make sure the print head is securely locked in place
and will not slide out of the home position area.
