Telephone settings
Dial mode
If you have touch tone servce, the telephone s ready for use as soon as the
battery s charged. If you have pulse (rotary) servce, you wll need to change
the dal mode.
Press PROG when the handset s n dle mode.

Home area code

If you dal your local calls usng only seven dgts (no area code requred), program
your home area code followng the steps below. By programmng your home area
code, caller ID wll dsplay only the phone number wthout area code when you
receve calls from callers n your local area.

Press SELECT. The stored area code is displayed with the first digit flashing.

Press SELECT to confirm. You will hear a confirmation tone.
