4. Lift up the upper case by starting from the top edge of the upper case. Refer to
Figure 3-20.
5. Release the tabs on the bottom edge of the upper case.
6. Grasp and remove the upper case from the system.

Upper Case Installation

1. Place the upper case on the base assembly and align it properly to the edge of the
system. Refer to
2. Install and secure two (2) screws (C) to the upper case
3. Connect touchpad FPC (A) to mainboard connector (B). Refer to
4. Install and secure eighteen (18) screws to the base assembly. Refer to
5. Install Keyboard and Base Door.
