in HEX.)
• Sort Statistics based on target/initiator information for CLI / ADU / SMU.
• Added route table support for SMU, ADU and CLI. (Route entries are sorted by
dynamic/static/data/loop-back entries.)
• Added fan-, cache-, power supply - information for external storage box to ADU report.

In dual-controller configurations, added support for an active management port on each controller
with a unique IP address, subnet and VLAN.

In dual-controller configurations, added support for unique iSNS settings for each controller.

In dual-controller configurations, added support for unique SNMP trap destinations for each
controller.
Fixes
•
LUNs are no longer reset during expansion (Customer Advisory 640436).
•
LUNs no longer become unavailable with I/O errors during a server reboot (Customer Advisory
64041 1).
•
Idle sessions are now timed out after 10 minutes.
•
No longer lose connectivity to storage LUNs on VMware ESX.
•
Server reboots no longer cause multiple failovers.
•
Fixed popup message when changing hostname or non-ip fields on management setting screen to
warn of session loss.
•
Fixed incorrect display of Logical LUNs after forcwfirstwrite.
Fixed controller reboot if portal added/deleted from other controller.

Prerequisites
MSA1510i firmware 2.0 requires the following components on the server:
•
Windows: Microsoft iSCSI Initiator 2.06+, MPIO software, and Microsoft Device Specific Module
(DSM)
IMPORTANT:
Before installing and using 2.0 active/active firmware, any previous version of the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator
and MPIO software and HP DSM must be uninstalled from the server. While this can be done manually,
HP recommends using the MSA1510i Support CD version 2.0 to manage this process. An ISO image of
the CD is available on the MSA1510i Support page: http://www.hp.com/support.
