Presence of continuity modules in the RIMM

Availability of video controller. It is checked by
the BIOS. If an error is detected, it is not a fatal
one and the BIOS will continue its execution
normally.
The BIOS then executes the Power On Self Test
(POST) sequence. In this phase, MaxiLife waits
for any error messages that the BIOS may issue.

Operating System Boot Phase

If no error message has been displayed at this stage of the system startup by
the BIOS, the operating system is launched.
On the HP Kayak XM 600 Minitower PC Workstation, the LCD status
panel will display the system platform and a "smiling icon."

Check that the RDRAM continuity modules are installed
Install RDRAM modules in the RIMM sockets
Check that the installed RDRAM modules have the same speed
ratings
Check that the SDRAM modules are correctly installed in the
DIMM sockets
Check that the memory modules are correctly installed
Check that the video controller is correctly installed
Note: No error is detected if a monitor is not connected to an
installed video controller. This is not a fatal error and the BIOS will
continue its normal execution.
If the screen is working, you can obtain the meaning of the
error by typing "Enter" at the end of the POST.
