    Note: For devices that require more power than provided by both ports, an optional power adapter can be purchased from SIIG online store. Most USB or FireWire devices do not need this optional power adapter to work. However, if your device does not work properly or you experience poor performance, the power supply is recommended.
  • Page 3: Hardware Installation

    Hardware Installation General instructions for installing the card are provided below. Since the design of systems may vary, refer to your system’s reference manual for further information, if needed. Insert the card into the ExpressCard slot of your system. Make sure it is inserted all the way in for a solid connection. Driver Installation Windows will automatically detect and install the correct driver for this board.
