Compaq. License Grant Compaq grants you a license to use one copy of the Software. “Use” means storing, loading, installing, executing, or displaying the Software. You may use the Software only on one computer or processor at any one time. You may not modify the Software or disable any licensing or control features of the Software. - Page 6 Replacement parts or units will be either new or equivalent to new in performance. If Compaq is unable, within a reasonable time, to repair or replace any product to a condition as warranted, you will be entitled to a refund of the purchase price on a pro-rated basis upon prompt return of the product.

If necessary, Compaq will provide you with telephone assistance. Defective parts and units must be returned to Compaq within 30 days. Compaq may ask for a credit card as collateral for the more expensive parts (such as monitors) and will charge you for the retail price of the part if the defective part or unit is not returned within 30 days. -

For your safety, the power cord provided with your system has a grounded plug. Always use the power cord with a properly grounded wall outlet, to avoid the risk of electrical shock. -
