4.2 Channel Message
Reception is carried out only during recording. Transmission is performed only when
playing and overdubbing. Refer to Receive and Transmit flow charts for reception
and transmission conditions. Polyphonic Aftertouch can be transmitted and received,
but the internal tone generator will not recognize it.
4.3 Mode Message
Transmission and reception is carried out.
4.4 System Common Message
Only $F2 and $F3 are received, and the others are not transmitted nor received.
4.5 System Realtime Messages
4.5.1 Status F8, FA, FB, FC are received.

4.5.2 After status F9, FD, FF are read, nothing will be carried out.
4.6 System Exclusive Messages
During recording, W5/W7 will not respond to dump request.
5. Status FE (Active Sensing)
a) Transmission
FE is transmitted approximately every 170 msec.
b) Reception
If a signal is not output from MIDI for longer than approximately 300 msec after
receiving FE, the MIDI reception buffer is cleared, and if key on remains it is turned
off.
