Step 1: Unpacking

• User's Manual
* Dispose of batteries according to local environmental
regulations. Do not put them in the household trash.
Step 2: Connecting DVD
Recorder-VCR to the TV using
the RF Cable
You have to connect the DVD Recorder-VCR to the TV
using the scart cable, without forgetting the RF cable.
Using the scart cable is necessary and it enables you to:
• get a better image quality,
• make the DVD Recorder-VCR tuning procedure easier.
Whichever connection method you choose,
the provided RF cable must always be con-

nected. Otherwise, you won't get any image
on the TV screen if the VCR is off.
Make sure that the TV and the VCR are both
off before making any connections.
Disconnect the input aerial or cabled network

cable from the TV.
Connect the cable to the 75 Ω coaxial connector

Recorder-VCR.

Connect the other end of the cable to the TV aer-

Connect the power cable to a wall outlet.

(cable, satellite or conventional broadcasting)

you have to connect to the DVD Recorder-
VCR :
an outdoor or indoor conventional aerial
(access to the cable network),
a demodulator or a satellite set top box.
