IEEE1394 Data Transfer
System Requirements
I CPU: faster Intel ® Pentium III™ 450MHz compatible.
I Operating system: Windows ® 98SE, ME, XP, Mac OS (9.1~10.2)
I Main memory: more than 64 MB RAM
I IEEE1394 add-on card or built in IEEE1394 card
Recording with a DV Connection Cable (VP-D451i/D453i/D454i/D455i only)
1. Set the Power switch to PLAYER.
2. Set the Mode switch to TAPE.
(VP-D453i/D454i/D455i only)
3. Connect the DV cable (not supplied) from the
DV jack of the Camcorder to the DV jack of the
other DV device.
I Make sure that is displayed.
4. Press the Start/Stop button to begin
REC PAUSE mode.
I PAUSE is displayed on the LCD screen.
5. Start playback on the other DV device while you monitor the picture.
6. Press the Start/Stop button to start recording.
If you want to pause recording momentarily, press the Start/Stop button
again.
7. To stop recording, press the (STOP) button.

I When using this Camcorder as a recorder, the pictures that appear on an
external monitor may seem distorted, however recorded pictures will not be
affected.
I Operation is not guaranteed for all the recommended computer environments
mentioned above.
I While transmitting data from the Camcorder to PC at strong electric field and
strong magnetic field, VIDEO signal or AUDIO signal may transmit with noise.

3. Verbinden Sie den DV-Anschluss des

Camcorders mit Hilfe eines DV-Kabels (nicht
im Lieferumfang enthalten) mit dem DV-

4. Drücken Sie die Start/Stopp-Taste, um in den Modus REC PAUSE
<AUFNAHMEPAUSE> zu wechseln.
I Auf dem LCD-Monitor wird PAUSE angezeigt
5. Starten Sie die Wiedergabe auf dem anderen DV-Gerät. Überwachen Sie
dabei das Bild.
6. Drücken Sie die Start/Stopp-Taste, um die Aufnahme zu starten.
Wenn Sie die Aufnahme kurz unterbrechen möchten, drücken Sie erneut auf
die Start/Stopp-Taste.
7. Drücken Sie die Taste (STOPP), um die Aufnahme zu beenden.

I Wenn Sie mit dem Camcorder Bilder von einer anderen DV-Quelle
aufzeichnen, können auf dem Monitor Bildstörungen zu sehen sein. Die
Qualität der Aufzeichnung wird jedoch nicht beeinträchtigt.
I Der fehlerfreie Betrieb bei Verwendung eines der hier genannten Systeme
kann nicht gewährleistet werden.
I Wenn Daten vom Camcorder unter Einwirkung eines stark
elektromagnetischen Felds auf den Computer übertragen werden, können die
übertragenen Video- und Audiosignale gestört sein.
