Receive a New Text Message
Note: You must set up the text message inbox before you can receive text messages.
When you receive a new message, your phone displays
reminders are turned on, your phone sends a reminder every five minutes until you close the new
message notification, read the message, or turn off your phone. (See "Selecting a Reminder" on
page 70.)
When your inbox is full, any new message replaces the oldest unlocked message.
From the new message notification:

Read, Lock, or Delete a Text Message
You can open your text message inbox to read, lock or delete messages at any time.
Messages in the text message inbox are sorted from newest to oldest. The oldest messages are deleted
as new ones are added. If you want to save a message, you should lock it to prevent it from being
overwritten as new messages are received.
