How Do I Adjust the Surround Modes?
Input signal
PCM or Analog
Some modes may be unable to be selected depending on the speaker
setup.
During playback of a Dolby Digital program, "OFFSET +x dB" (where
x is a figure) may be displayed on the receiver's display. This is dis-
played when the source being played outputs a Dolby Digital signal
with a higher or lower level than the standard level. For example,
when "OFFSET +4dB" is displayed, the source contains an audio sig-
nal with a 4 dB higher level than the standard level. (dB is the unit of
sound amplitude.)

Selecting the Pro Logic Mode with PowerTouch III

1. In the Listen Mode menu, select Pro Logic to display the following
menu:
2. Select one of Dolby PL II: Movie (Dolby Pro Logic II: Movie), Dolby
PL II: Music (Dolby Pro Logic II: Music) and Dolby Pro Logic.
The selected item will be displayed in highlighted.

* When the input is a 96k fs PCM signal, it is
only Stereo that can be selected.
