Switching the Play Modes

The play modes of the player include the program mode, disc random
mode and all random mode in addition to the track mode for normal
playback.
Select the desired play mode and enjoy disc playback in many ways.
However, with some DVDs and VCDs, the partitions in the
recording are not related with the track number assignment. As a
result, repeat playback may not be available with such software.

Set the mode switch of the joystick remote to the Orange posi-
tion.

In stop mode, each press of
Program mode: Desired tracks in a desired disc can be
programmed in the desired order.
Disc random mode: Tracks in a desired disc can be played in
a random order.
All random mode: Tracks in all discs in the tray can be played
in a random order.
Track mode: Normal playback in order of tracks.
¶ Some operations may be restricted depending on the played
disc or player status.
¶ When the played disc is a P.B.C.-compatible VCD, its P.B.C.
is on and you want to switch the play mode, stop the player,
set the mode switch of the joystick remote to the Green
position, then press the P.B.C. button to switch it off. fl
