INSTALLATION
•
NOTE: Install this telephone away from electronic equipment,
such as personal computers, television sets or microwave ovens.
Avoid excessive heat, cold, dust or moisture.
1 Connect the telephone line cord. (figure a)
2 Connect the power cord to the base and an electrical outlet not
controlled by a wall switch. (figure a)

Use only the power cord supplied with this product.
If you need a replacement, call 1-800-222-3111.
3 Install the handset battery. Use only AT&T Battery 2401,
SKU# 91077. (figure b)
4 Charge the handset battery.
• Place the handset in the base.
• Charge the battery at least 12 hours. After the first charge,
the battery will charge in eight hours.
For detailed installation instructions, to use the belt clip, or to
use a headset with this phone please refer to the INSTALLATION
section of your User's Manual.

FEATURE SETUP

Set Time

You can choose to set the handset time manually, or you can allow it
to be set automatically with incoming Caller ID information.
MENU
1 Press on the handset.
2 Press until the screen displays
OK
3 Press . The screen displays the current time setting.
Use to move the cursor, use the keypad to change a
digit. Select AM/PM .
SAVE
4 Press to save the displayed time.
NOTE: To set up the answering system clock, please refer
to ANSWERING SYSTEM section on this page or see "Set the
Clock" in ANSWERING SYSTEM OPERATION on page 45 of
your User's Manual.
