Adjusting the brightness of a copy

Load paper.

Load an original document facedown on the scanner glass.

From the control panel, press

Press or to select the number of copies.
The number of copies is automatically set to 1.

Press .

Press repeatedly until Lighter/Darker is highlighted.

Press or to adjust the brightness of the copy.

Press to preview the copy.

Press to continue adjusting the settings.

Repeat step 8 to step 9 as needed.

Press to save your settings temporarily.

Copying photos

Load photo paper with the glossy or printable side facing you. (If you are not sure which side is the printable
side, see the instructions that came with the paper.)

Place a photo facedown on the scanner glass.
