Typical installations vent the dryer from the rear of the dryer.
Other installations are possible.

A. Dryer F. Rigid metal or flexible metal vent
B. Elbow G. Vent length necessary to connect elbows
C. Wall H. Exhaust outlet
D. Exhaust hood I. Optional side exhaust outlet
E. Clamps
Optional exhaust installations:
Exhaust can be converted out the right side, left side, or through
the bottom (4-way vent kit). Each kit includes step-by-step
