Replacing the Memory Module(s)

WARNING: Before working inside your computer, read the safety information

Procedure

1 Align the notch on the memory module with the tab on the memory-module
connector.
2 Slide the memory module firmly into the connector at a 45-degree angle
and press the memory module down until it clicks into place.
If you do not hear the click, remove the memory module and reinstall it.

3 Slide the memory-module shield on the system-board shield and replace the
screw that secures the memory-module shield to the system-board shield.
