Managing Your Printer

The EpsonScript Utility allows you to manage your printer
from a Macintosh computer. The EpsonScript utility will also
work with other Epson or PostScript printers. With it, you can
do the following:
Display a list of fonts stored in the printer, download
additional fonts, and remove any downloaded fonts.
Find out information about the printer, such as the driver
version, the number of pages printed, and amount of
printer memory.
Print PostScript files without the use of a software program.

Rename the printer.
Send control commands to the printer, reset the printer,
enable or disable the startup page, and edit control
commands.
The EpsonScript Utility is installed on your hard disk during
installation. (If you did a customize installation, you might not
have installed the utility.)
To use the utility, first use the Chooser to select the printer
whose settings you

clicking on the EpsonScript Utility icon. This brings up the
dialog box shown on the following page.
