To Add a phonebook memory:
à
1. Press
"PHONEBOOK"
OK
à
2. Press
"LIST"
OK
à
3. Press
once
"NEW ENTRY"
and the display shows a flashing cursor at the start of the name line.
4. Press

5. Key in the name (maximum 12 characters).
If you enter any wrong character, press
6. When you have entered the name , press
the start of the number line. Key in the telephone number (maximum 20 digits).
7. When you have entered the number, press
"MELODY 1", with the melody playing.
8. Press

to scroll through the ring melodies.
(Note: the melody you select will only play if you subscribe to CID (see page 14) and
the phonebook number matches the one received from the Caller Display.)
9. Press
to confirm the melody, and the new entry is saved in the phonebook.

The display will return to the previous menu.

to go back to idle mode at any time.
To modify phonebook memories
à
1. Press
"PHONEBOOK"

2. Press
"LIST"

twice ,
"EDIT RECORD"
to display the first entry in the phonebook.

to scroll to the entry you want to modify.

to delete letters one by one, and then add characters to enter the new name.

to confirm the name, and the cursor will flash at the end of the current
