10.3 REMOVE REAR WHEEL AND REAR BRAKE

(For ATV YXL/ EXL 150 (2004 two-passengers) drum brake)
This section is about ATV YXL / EXL 150 (2004 two-passengers) / EXL-150 (VIPER) rear wheel
and brake system. The ATV EXL / CXL / RXL-150 system will be discussed in subpart of this
chapter.
Loosen the cotter pin, wheel nuts, and raise the rear wheel
off the ground by placing a support under the frame.
Release the wheel and wheel hub.
Remove the brake drum cover.
Brake shoes are worn
Bad brake adjustment
Brake linings are oily, greasy or dirty
Brake drums are worn
Brake arm setting is improperly engage
Axle is not tightened well
Bent rim
Axle bearings are worn
Faulty tires
Rear axle bearing holder is faulty
