Specifying Display Ranges for Layer Styles

You use the Display Ranges area on the Styles tab to specify the visible display
range for the current style set. The other options on the Styles tab determine
how the layer displays in the Map Window when the map's zoom level is
within the display range currently shown in the Display Ranges box.
When the current zoom level of Autodesk MapGuide Author or Autodesk
MapGuide Viewer is within the visible display range of a particular layer, the
program redraws that layer as specified in the associated style set.
Most map layers have only one style set, but multiple style sets can be useful
for some polyline map layers. In the following table, three different display
ranges, each with its own set of styles, are set up to display major roads.
