1. Place unit on a flat surface.

2. Using the short bolt, assemble the edger guide as shown in Figure

3. Remove wing nut, lock washer, flat washer and bolt from the deflector on the trimmer, as shown in Figure

NOTE: Put these parts aside for use later when the edger guide is removed.

4. Keeping deflector in place, lift trimmer slightly off the ground. Align edger as shown in Figure

thumbs and snap down onto tabs of deflector. Ensure that slots are aligned.

5. Using long bolt, install hardware as shown in Figure

6. Adjust edger guide to desired trimming length and tighten wing nut securely as shown in Figure
