Bumper Spike Kit
Installation of Bumper Spike
1.
Remove the drive case cover (A) by unscrewing the two hex nuts (B).
2.
Remove outer guide bar plate (C) and guide bar (if installed).
3.
Remove inner guide bar plate (D) by unscrewing the phillips head screw (E) between the
guide bar studs (F).
4.
Place bumper spike (G) onto the chain saw using the hardware (H) included. (NOTE: The
bottom fastener requires that pressure be applied to the screw while being inserted.)
5.
Reverse the above procedure to reinstall components.
