Using the Resource Manager to view inventory data
You can use the Resource Manager to view all of the inventory data for a single
resource. You can view the basic inventory that is gathered from all managed
computers.

To view the inventory data of a computer using the Resource Manager

In the Symantec Management Console, click Manage > Computers.

In the right pane, double-click a computer.
3 To view the hardware summary, click Summaries > Hardware Summary.
4 To view the software summary, click Summaries > Software Summary.
5 To view the Installed Software Report, in the left pane, click Installed
Software Report.
6 To view the inventory data classes, select View > Inventory.
To view the data, select a data class.
For example, to see which version of Windows is running on the computer,
click Operating System > Operating System Windows.
To see the status of the inventory data, click the Status tab.
