Needle guard at the hook

Caution: Danger of injury!
Turn off the main switch.
Only check and adjust the needle guard when the sewing unit is
switched off.
Adjustment and inspection
The needle guard 2 should prevent the needle touching the hook tip.
In the loop stroke position the needle should be pushed away slightly.

Check the needle guard.
To adjust
–
Turn the machine to the loop stroke position.

Adjust the needle guard by turning screw 1.
CAUTION Risk of breaking!
The needle guard must be adjusted after a change in the needle bar
height, after adjusting the loop stroke and after changing the needle
thickness.
