CD-ROM drive

Before you begin:
v Read Appendix B, "Safety information," on page 143.
v Review the information in "System reliability guidelines" on page 25.
To remove the CD-ROM drive, complete the following steps:
1. Turn off the server, if it is on.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the power source and from the server; then,
3. Remove the side cover (see "Removing the side cover" on page 28).
4. Remove the front bezel (see "Removing the bezel" on page 30).
5. Disconnect the CD-ROM drive connector and power cables from the rear of the
6. Press the blue touch point on the raised area of the CD-ROM drive cage and
7. Lift the CD-ROM drive out of the server.
