Your HDTV allows you to lock out all of the channels, which prevents them from being
viewed, or to lock out programs (broadcast on any channel) which exceed specific
rating limits.
The channels and programs are locked out by way of a secret code, which you select. The
first time you lock channels or lock programs by ratings, the HDTV will ask you to enter a
secret code. Later, if you wish, you may change the secret code.

Locking All Channels

This option prevents the HDTV from displaying any channels.
To lock all channels:

Highlight the Setup icon and press ENTER.

Highlight Set Parental Locks and press ENTER.

Highlight Lock All Channels and press ENTER.

If you have not yet selected a secret code,
will ask you to enter a secret code. Use the number buttons
on the remote control (0 – 9) to enter any four numbers you
choose. Enter the new code again when prompted.
If you have already selected a secret code,
will ask you to enter it. Use the number buttons on the
remote control (0 – 9) to enter your secret code.
The following message will appear:
All channels are locked.
Press POWER to turn off TV.
Enter secret code to unlock.
You may now either turn off the TV or re-enter your secret
code to unlock the channels. The above message will appear
until the secret code is used to unlock the channels.
To unlock all channels:
Use the number buttons on the remote control to enter the
secret code.
The channels will unlock and the TV will return to
normal viewing.
