- Page 3 ADJUSTMENT AND OPERATION NOTE: Please follow these steps carefully to assure maximum performance and proper operation of the unit. When properly adjusted, the RB-1 fan should take 1-2 minutes to start once the furnace or air conditioner blower has begun running. It should also take 1-5 minutes to shut off after the blower stops, allowing for the residual heated or cooled air to be distributed into the room.
