Event Editor

Pressing EDIT then EVENT EDIT in the track edit menu enters the Mark 12 into a
special screen mode called the Event Editor. In this mode, you can view and change the
detailed musical data stored in the song track. The Event Editor provides a display like
the following:
The first line of the display shows the track being examined, the location of the specific
event shown, and an icon which reflects whether or not notes will be heard as they are
shown. The location field is displayed as measure:beat.ticks with measure and beat
having their usual musical meaning. A Mark 12 clock tick represents 1/96 of a quarter
note. Note that the actual time an event occurs in a song is determined by the tempo of
the song as it is played.
The second line of the display shows the event itself. There are several kinds of events
that can be stored in a Mark 12 musical track.
