Folder structure of the POCKETRAK CX
About the file naming rules
The POCKETRAK CX automatically names the recorded files, following the file naming rules as
shown below:

Folder name (Variable with a folder that contains the file.)

File number (Each recording will be numbered sequentially, e.g., 001, 002, 003, etc.)

Extension (File format. MP3 for an MP3 recording file, and WAV for a PCM recording
file.)
Files moved into the Recycle Bin will be renamed as follows:
001_IC_A_001.MP3

File number in the Recycle Bin (Each file will be numbered sequentially based on when
the file was moved to the Recycle Bin (e.g., 001, 002, 003, etc.)

Folder name (The folder that originally contained the file before it was moved to the
Recycle Bin.)

File number (The original number of the file before it was moved to the Recycle Bin.)

Extension (File format. MP3 for an MP3 recording file, and WAV for a PCM recording

Using the POCKETRAK CX with a Computer
VOICE (A-D) folders: Store audio
files recorded on the unit.
Each folder accommodates up to
199 files.
LINE (L) folder: Stores files recorded
via the line input.
Accommodates up to 199 files.
MUSIC (M) folder: Stores music files for
playback.
Each sub-folder accommodates up to 999
files.
Recycle Bin (

Accommodates up to 500 files.
